| | | rss Geolocation KythiraMaybe Kythira is the most 'unknown' island of all Greek islands. Yet it is fairly large. Kythira is situated below the Peloponnesos, inbetween the Peloponnesos and Creta. At the end of WW2, 15000 people lived there. Only 3500 people live in Kythira these days, cause after WW2, most of them emigrated, many of them to Australia. Nowadays about 60.000 people of Kythira origin live in Australia. Some of them go to their roots... We met many English speaking people there, Australian tourists... They don't forget their roots...
