Course: from a black & white photo to a color photo with PSP 7

Regina asked me how I converted a B&W Lantia photo (see my 'Refurbished' album) into a color photo. I'll explain this using Paint Shop Pro 7.02. But if you use other photo editors (Photoshop of course), the method is the same. It helps if you understand what is a layer, though I explain this during the course.
Follow the instructions from the first photo to the next one and so on.
You can download the 'original' as an example to work with: right-click, copy it and open it in your favorite photo-editor by pasting it there. Don't forget to save the original before you start working!

Rich Bruton ( http://members.fotki.com/RichBruton/about ) suggested another method to colorize a B&W photo, and he uses Photoshop CS to demonstrate it (works in PSP 7 the same way). Thanks, Rich!
